Passkeys are created on your device, and the MoreHarvest app will use whatever method you use to open your device, including biometric authenticators such as Face/Touch ID or a PIN. Setting a passkey will replace the default Passwordless login and it's the strongest way to protect your account.
Setting up your passkeys
- Go to Menu (3 bars/email or name in the top bar) → Profile (person icon) → Security settings (gear icon).
- Select Pass key.
- Name your Passkey. A good name will be the device you are setting it up for, such as "My iPhone 18 → Continue.
- Your device will ask you to authenticate using the passkey you have selected, for example, Face ID
Logging in not using a device where the passkey is set
- If you are using a device where you have not set a passkey, for example, you've set a passkey on your mobile device but are accessing using your laptop, you can switch back to Passwordless login
- Select "Use another method" and an email with the 1-time link will be sent to you.
Making changes using Passkey
If you are updating your security settings and have the Passkey Set as primary, you'll be prompted to sign in again using your device Passkey.
