What are dividends?
MoreHarvest pays its investors in dividends, which are earned based on the number of shares invested. After operational costs and fees have been deducted, the dividends are the profits from the rental income across the entire funds that are distributed to the investor community.
When do I get paid?
January, once a year.
When will I know how much I am to be paid?
Your income is available from your Home → select My Portfolio.
There are a few dates MoreHarvest uses to work out how much is to be distributed, who is entitled to payment and what that payment will be per share.
- Ex-dividend date - anyone invested prior to this date is entitled to a dividend. This date is usually about 1 month before the payout date. If your shares have not matured yet, your dividend will be paid out on the maturation date.
- Record date - this is just after the Ex-dividend date, where MoreHarvest communicates who is entitled to a dividend and how much dividend per share.
- Payout date - this is when MoreHarvest will transfer the funds to your nominated bank account.
This information is available in Home → select My Portfolio → select My Positions.
Why have I not been paid dividends?
Check to see if your shares have matured. If you see a❓next to your income, it will tell you when your shares have matured.
Dividends will only be paid on matured shares.
On the day your shares mature, you will be paid the dividends you have earned up to that point and again on the payout date.
When do I get dividends owed after I sell matured shares?
The following payout date.
